Just a heads-up on this problem. As I could not strip the lift lever shaft I managed to find a local chap to do it. As I suspected, the inner and outer parts were rusted together and required a lot of force to seperate them. This is why the lever would only rotate a few degrees. Its all back togethe...

Does anyone recognise this fault? Coult it be a linkage or hydraulic problem???

As a last resort can anyone recommend a person/company near NE Essex who might be able to fix?

Any info will be gratefully received!

Thanks Brian, The lift lever and the smaller selector lever seem to turn together. Pull the lift lever up until it stops (approx 5 deg) and the selector lever drops a little. The spool valve opens and the arms will rise. The arms drop as soon as you let go of the lever. Push the selector lever down ...

I have a Super Major which has developed a fault. It was fine when it drove into my barn several months ago but now the implement lift lever in the quadrant on the RHS is stuck at the bottom.
