Replacing the external services chest

Hello: Since I still cannot get the hydraulics to work, and the external services chest is pretty frozen up, can someone let me know if the part on the attached link is the correct one to use to perform this replacement? http://www.tractorsparesdirect.co.uk/index.php?app=gbu0&ns=prodshow&ref=66232&s...

Re: Still no hydraulic lift

I cleaned out each part and the sump prior to putting it back together. So you think I should have more flow?

Re: Still no hydraulic lift

Well I put the top cover to the hydraulics back on and still no lift. I was wondering. When I had the cover off I started up the tractor and watched the flow of oil from the pump upward about two inches out of the case. Does that seem normal? :scratchhead:

Re: Still no hydraulic lift

I have the top cover of the hydraulics off again and was wondering if there is any way to test the operation of the top cover while it is off. Any ideas? I have been using compressed air into the oil in hole while plugging the oil out hole with no success for lift. I do not think I have enough press...

Still no hydraulic lift

On my super dexta I have removed the upper plate and the lift cover, cleaned all the ram parts, cleaned the sump, cleaned the pump, replaced the o rings refilled the sump and still no pressure. However, I was not able to dismantle the upper plate, with the exception to the center flow control valve....

Re: Hydraulics have stopped working

It does not seem that the sump was low on oil before you drained it. However, if it is that dirty maybe the intake filter screen is clogged and you are not able to suck up enough oil to get pressure. Take the off the right foot rest, the brake linkage and remove the pump and slide out the pick up tu...

Super Dexta Hydraulics

I just brought home my first Super Dexta at least that is what is says on the front. It runs great. However, the hydraulics don't work at all. I am wondering, should I go and purchase an upper gasket and o ring set from agraline or others and open it up to see what is going on in there? Or, should I...
