I use one on a dexta. Problem is the momentum created by the loader. There is a need for ballast at the front when the loader is in use .
As for the neck, yep this is a real problem.
Otherwise it is a good piece of equipment.

Hi all, I've had a very close similar thing happen to my Dexta. The 3 forks of the pressure plate had been too close to the drive plate and nearly worn through the rivets. Just caught it in time. As for the overrun clutch, ALWAYS use one whenever you use an implement that relies on innertia or you w...

Hi , Yes it is possible to change the seal without removing the front axle and radiator. I just had to shorten a socket to undo the bolt, but then getting the old seal out was a bit fiddly. The size of the seal is 50.8mm (2")in and 69.85mm (2 3/4")outside diam. and was metal casing. This was not ava...

hi, yes, it looks pretty tight but I think the the bolt can be undone via the hole to crank the engine by hand and this with a shortened socket and an extensionpiece. I will try it tomorrow and keep you posted. Getting the seal looks a bit more difficult, but I'll try with a prybar. As said, I'll gi...

Front engine oil seal

Hi there, Has anybody ever removed a front engine oil seal without removing the front axle or radiator? Also has someone got the dimensions of it? I have put in new one when I rebuild the engine, but it didn't leak before the rebuild but it does now. The fan belt pulley was not worn, so I suspect it...

Hi,

just be careful that it is a cover for a Dexta, and not one for a MF.
These look the same, but (as I found out after buying an MF one) there is a difference with the boltholes at the front of the cover and there is no hole for the oil on the front-left.

Air cleaner was cleaned out before the rebuild, but i will try it without the air-cleaner on and see if that makes the difference. Also did I check the spring in the governor, and that didn't meet the needed lenght as stated in the repair manual. New problem arised as I wanted to move her and go for ...

Dexta won't rev

Hi everybody, I am new to this forum , but from reading some of the posts I think somebody here could help me. I am nearly finished rebuilding the engine of my 1962 Dexta (new valves, liners , pistons, etc..) and after the first test she doesn't seem to want to rev to max rev's anymore. I have checke...
