I was looking for the amount of movement of the Clutch Release Arm ( on dual clutch) not the pedal, as at the moment have no clutch pedal etc fitted on. As needs rebuilding as had about 6 " of free play
Morning, Does anyone know the amount of movement should be on the Power Major Clutch Release Arm (approx) before the thrust bearing picks up on the Clutch adjusters.
What the general view on using the standard replacement head gasket (as in Agriline engine overhaul kit) or fitting the copper head gasket. The engine block is a replacement, therefore was not match the the original head.
Cheers
Not at the moment, not enough contacts here in Brittany, plus Major wheels not very plentiful around here. If when the wheels are reversed she’s still to wide, we are thinking of making up a trolley with a axle stand welded on it, then with one rear wheel removed, then run it up on to the trailer on...
Had a idea, let tyres down a little, as trailer has low sides, put the wheels up on say a 10cm blocks, the tryes would only have to be pushed in 5cms a side by the trailers sides to alow on, any thoughts ? also any one any tips on starting, it as its not run for 4 years. Keith Thanks everyone, first...
Thay are set wide at the moment with a overall width of 220cms
from what Dandy Dave said when set normally they are 190.5 wide. still 10cms to wide for my trailer
I have just got hold of a 1960 power major, it is on 14-30 rear tyres, but reversed, I have to travel 300 miles to collect the tractor, does anyone with a power/super major have the overall width of the 14-30 tyres setup normally.
under 180cms will fit on trailer, over we have a problem
