Re: Power major hydraulics suddenly quit working
Hi i just wanted to update everyone on the problem. I finally solved the issue. I used a heat gun on the lift valve block and it has worked ever since there must have been some ice making the valves not work.

Re: Power major hydraulics suddenly quit working
The screen was really filthy full of ice and dirt. I replaced with new oil. Is it possible everything would need to be flushed out somehow? Im hoping it will stay working im not sharp at all with hydraulics. If not ill have to take those steps you've listed i appreciate the help!

Re: Power major hydraulics suddenly quit working
I did not clean any wires meshes i just drained the oil out of the 2 or 3 plugs cant quite remember how many plugs. That might be the issue then. I did use Trans Hydraulic fluid. Re: Power major hydraulics suddenly quit working
Sorry been a while since ive been on. Got back to freezing and they quit working again. I find it strange that this is happening because i just changed on the rear end oils before winter. I kind of have a fear it might be the pump failing. I got them to work a little bit by letting the tractor run f...

Re: injector seal replacement question
I went to a local hardware store and they have metal piping that i might be able to piece one of these together. The only problem i see with this that it will have big openings on both ends instead of the little holes. Would this create a fuel problem? Im also having a hard time getting one these ad...

Re: Charging alternator question power major
Hi im curious now. My gauges are all smashed is there a good cheap source for them? Im going on a guess that its not charging according to the previous owner. Is there any way to just hook up a cheap amp meter? Im pretty lost when it comes to wiring.

Re: Charging alternator question power major
Could someone have hooked up the battery backwards on my tractor maybe? The positive post goes to the solenoid and the negative is grounded to the frame? Could it be possible that they hooked it up backwards and its not charging?
