i gave just these numbers to a n/h garage and tthey must have a way but i am not sure if they got it right i think she was one of the early 1960 models...sorry il get more numbers soon

another way of removing the unload valve.. get a big socket which has a greater diameter than the unload valve plug..unload valve plug which is under that plate with the 4 screws or the newer pump will just have 2 screws,its the side of the pump with the spring inside the plate and has a cone coming...

I also had the same problem..ya brian is right its an stuck unload valve..has the dexta been sitting for a while as in not running? If your taking the top off make sure not to take the bolts which hold the pump onto the top lift..or the pump will fall..the is one bolt under the auxrily service plate...

I started the dexta today with the new thermosat fitted and it worked ok..once the point went to the red zone it would drop back down..Tha red zone on my temp gauge is halfway so its all good..

OIL cleaner
My dexta used to throw up the oil too..I took the oil bath apart and cleaned it with desiel..Filled back up with engine oil and it doesnt do it any more..There was alot of sludge in the oil bath.

New Temp
I recently bought a temp gauge and inserted into the housing but i have not drove her since i put it in..Even when i leave her standing for about a half an hour the temp does not rise at all!! Faulty id say!!

Finally
I have removed yoke today!! wooooh!! :P I then connected the lift arms up to the top lift arms and started up the tractor..The lift arms worked but fast when going up and very slow going back down! also when I am raising them ,,when i want to stop them from going up i have to push the main control l...

Nearly have the yoke off!! spent the last couple of hours with heat and a bar..its still very stiff! Because its so far off the plunger keeps moving up :stress: i might have to make a bracket to hold it down..Very awkawd! Any TIPS??might wait till i have the whole lift off and get a big bar at it![/b]
