I bet a call to a New Holland spares may be worth it
The parts lists are available online at www.newholland.com but maybe the number series for the Dexta and 2000 are not the same. So you might have to call anyhow.

Better but not bigger:-) Use 800x600 pix size so we can see something. I will try to take a picture of the solution on my tractor tomorrow. It's in exactly the same spot.

@Bensdexta: You brush painted? Does that work Ok for the casting parts? Would make life a bit easier for me. How much thinner/liter paint?

I would like to add a question:

Is the agriline Ford tractor blue and Ford grey white the correct colour for the late Super dextas? It does not have to be 100% the same, but I like the newer blue more than the empire blue.

I am sorry, but nothing was printed on the bolts. Maybe it rustet away?

Agriline has them, just in case you get stuck. Maybe you can call and check what quality they have.

I have almost the same heater both my Super dexta and my spareparts Dexta have a brass extension with the temperature gauge and on these gauge somebody has brass welded a pipe like a T to connect the heater. Looks quite factory made. I will try to take a picture tomorrow.

You can get the bolts from a supplier. Just take the old ones with you as the bolt quality is usually stamped on the bolt head. I don't know for UNC bolts though. For metric bolts I would take a 10.9 quality to be on the safe side. If you don't have the old bolts, I can check what is stamped on mine...

No idea. I had to convince mine with a big hammer to move, so I guess it works fine. You can use some loctite if you want to be on the safe side.

No need to mark them, there is a master spline. Mine just slipped of with a little hammer banging, so apparently that depends very much on the machine.

I would use the same orientation as in the picture. But you will have to remove the Spring and stuff first I think. The ring was beetwen the cam and the cover on your picture. I did not see any damage on my covers but maybe I will find out the hard way when mounting again :D . But casting quality wa...

Thanks for the link! I will keep an eye on them. Different part numbers between Dexta and 2000 wouldn't be so weired as Fordson became part of Ford :?: But as I don't think the guys at agriline are stupid, they would have the arms on the dexta page if they were the same. So we say they are different...

Hi Don, after pulling the second crosshaft today I can give you some advices :D . First of all, get a huge press. Not one of these 20ton toys. Then, before you start pressing, I would check for a little spacer ring. Mine was always on the cam side. When I pressed out the first on, I did not take car...

Re: Ford 2000 Dexta lift arms

I also need two lifting arms for super dexta but the one with the extra hole for the hitch. You'll find these at ebay for incredible prices (do you have the rest of the hitch, or do you need all of it?) You might sell your dexta arms, when you have found the hitch arms :D @Mervyn. I think South Afr...

Re: Ford 2000 Dexta lift arms

I am lifting this thread as I am looking for at least one of theese (right hand) arms as well. Located in Sweden, but transport from the UK should not be a major problem. I have a Super Dexta Agriline sells them for the Ford 2000, but would it fit?? One could ask them! I asked for the crosshaft and...

Sadly the prices on agrilines p...

Re: Wurth Rost Off Ice

£8.75 delivered in UK. Will try it on my top link which is rusted solid and report back.
All the best,
I just found out that they had a similar stuff from CRC at the lokal gas station. 10€ but fast and easy to get. I bought one to try it, but so far i had no problems dismantling the dexta.[/quote]

That should be a 9/16" UNEF (extra fine) thread . little bit hard to count, but 24 threads per inch seems correct. Makes it around 14-15mm in diameter.

The hole at the end is about 9mm diameter.
