55 major spoolvalve
hi everyone hope someone can help i've just fitted extra spoolvalve to my 55 major all bolted up but can't move any lever up or down, so slackened off the six bolts and they both moved but oil seeped out tightend them back up now they wont move can anyone help please

Chriss, can you post a piture of the valve, there are several diferent styles and makes.

sorry thats beyond my capability, but its the same as original i was told just unbolt the plate on the front put the new one to original the bolt the plate onto the new one, if that makes sense

One should think you just bolt it on. I should use a thin paper sealing.
Is the surface of both of them clean and flat?
You could remove the lever ass. and check if the valve and all the rest is clean and straight.

took it off today seems a rubber seal was'nt where it should be bolted it back on (gasget paper both sides) lift arms work as they should but the post knocker off the new valve needs one pulley freeing off once thats done fingers crossed it should work, here's hopeing.
