Bought this today a screw splitter running off my fordson power major.

I've got something similar its a bark buster splits limbs 2-4 feet long then put them through the saw I think they're much quicker than a hydraulic splitter

Looks similar to a Hycrack, beware they can be dangerous. :evil:

Best to present the log to the mandrel with the log offset to the right. This reduces the chance of log spinning and wacking fingers/ hand.

Suggest you wear cloves and no loose sleeves etc to catch in the mandrel or --> a nasty accident.

You should have a safety rail to reduce the chance of falling forward onto the mandrel and you need an emergency cut-off chord attached to the tractor's fuel cut-off knob.

If you haven't any user instructions, pm and I'll email some.

Good log splitting but take care - dangerous kit.
