The driveshaft seal is leaking badly on my Super Major new performance. Can someone tell me what is involved in renewing it?
I'll do some research, but its alway good to hear from someone with first hand experience

Re: Super Major - Injection pump driveshaft seal
the injection pump and coupling needs to be removed. It should be possible to pry out the seal from there
I'm not sure, but the seal size might be different on the NP super major

I'm assuming you mean the auxiliary shaft, the seal was the same throughout (E1ADDN-66610A). As Mathias says remove the pump and coupling and pull out the old seal (self tapping screws can be handy for that) then fit the new one. Make sure you check the timing is ok on reassembly and that the bolts are tight.

Yes, Its the auxiliary shaft and I'm hoping its not damaged since removing that seems to be a bigger job
Thanks to you both for the advice, I feel a lot happier going ahead with it now
