I have stripped my major engine and it has double "0"rings on the liners the only problem is the block is an early type with the throttle through it to the butterfly on the inlet manifold and should only have a single "0" ring ? any ideas anyone the engine is not the factory fitted it bares the number 5299339 not listed in any fordson books

Your block was made for a truck engine. They were made by Ebro and imported after production ceased at Dagenham.

You have a small ring at the top and a larger ring at the bottom as per the New Performance block and all the standard parts will fit.

all my shiny new parts have arrived its like x-mas all over again hopefully this old girl can bail some hay this year . thats untill everything else decides to break down will try to put a couple of pics up so every one can see just what i have ahead of me many thanks brian for solving my mystery
