I had an Oliver like that once. Put the bucket down. Move the wheels. Lift the bucket. Guide it as best as you can while moving forward.

			I reckon that would be a pig with the original Fordson steering. Steering geometry must make a huge difference. The first loading shovel that I drove as a kid was an old Chaseside on a Fordson skid. The steering was all Chaseside and as long as you were rolling and the tyres were not soft it was not too bad. I think it was lower geared than bog stnd Ford steering.
