Lift Cylinder, Hone it?

Lift Cylinder, Hone it?

Hello, I have just taken the lift cylinder out of my super major. The bore is fairly smooth inside with some minor rust. I have new seal to install. Should the Cylinder be honed? I can't find any reference to it in my itt manual. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom :)

A light honing to get rid of the rust is a good idea--- just don't overdo it!
