Replacement Lower Link Arms

All 4 lower link balls are all "wobblie" on my FPM and I'm not sure whether it is the ball or the link that has been worn out.

Is there a reasonable replacement for the lower link arms? By "reasonable" I mean one that is as close to the original as possible/

Whirly,

You can buy them new now days, and they seem pretty good.
If you have the one with the clips at the rear (from a Super) you can buy new balls. There cheap. But it will only replace the rear ones.
Or you could try to find a pair off old one that are good, but that's something like rocking horse manure.
There's also the possibility to weld 4 replacements on them.

Thanks :D

Unfortunately, I have the pre-Super Major links.

I've been looking for new replacements but have only found new Dexta replacement lower links. Does anyone know if there is another lower link that will be almost the same?

I think I found a reasonable replacement:

It's only 35" center to center but that's only an inch shorter than the ones on it now.

Hope this helps someone else :D

That 1" shorter may bring implements in contact with the tyres! Unless the balls are dropping out of the arms, the old ones will have many years left in them.
