Reverse Idler Gear

I am looking to fit a replacement Reverse Idler Gear of the non handbrake type i.e without the extension that holds the transmission brake plates, but finding one hard to come by.
I have seen one advertised off of a Fordson F. Does any one know if this will fit a Major EIA ? I know that the gearbox used on the Majors was much the same as the E27 N but not sure about Fordson F's
I appreciate that I will have to fabricate some way of retaining the gear on the bush but this should not be too difficult.
