Found them at Tractor Spares.com
Rather hard to come by and pricey over here.

Thank you Pat,
Is our start engine the M45 model, but then without the electric starter?

Henk, yes the Majors used the M45, I should have some springs in a few days and I'll let you know if they are corect. The reason I tore mine down was becous the slip clutch was slipping to much. when setting up the corect torque they have a special tool to use with a torque wrench, I found a 5/8 allen driver works slick for this. I'll see if I can get a pic posted this weekend.
We butcherd two beefers at the inlaws last weekend and we will spend most of today cutting meat, hopfuly I wont have to tape any fingers back together this year!

Henk, I got the springs today and they worked just fine!
I already had the starter halfway back together so I took a pic of the tool I used ( 5/8 allen driver) to set the torque before I put the bendix back in, in the manual there is an illustration with the bendix in a vice and the special tool being used with a torque wrench.
