new oil in re

want to change the oil in the rear end, so to use 20-30 if i can find it. is there a filter or screen to clean at the same time? if so how does one get at it? thank-you.

Around the drain plug underneath are four bolts, remove these and the drain plug plate will come off and with it a filter gauze. Wash and replace. You will also find a couple of magnetic bolts if you look into the hole left by the gauze, towards the front where the oil comes in.
Be prepared to get oil up to your armpits!
