Hello All,
I am looking to find a diagram of internals of a simms vacuum governed injector pump, mine seems to overfuel engine when under load, runs clear until load applied. i have turned fuel screw in as much as possible (not normal position) and most smoke gone but i think there is something missing from end of rack that is letting it open to far. also excess fuel button does not "click" in, or out when engine starts. engine by way has been rebuilt.
any suggestions or diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

You can work on the pump in a clean environment. Don´t let it open over night or so.
Remove the cap with the eight bolts. Then you will see the rack and can feel if it is loose.
You can remove the cold start unit. You will have to remove a nut inside the pump.
The unit can easily be opened to see what’s wrong. Also the diaphragm unit can be opened to check.

went to link week or so ago and looked at manual, now i try to get back and cant seem to access it anymore, reports corrupted file and cant restore.
do you have any suggestions?

Mark, I googled Fordson Major Diesel Fuel System again this evening and had no problem accessing it. Suggest you try again -- but please post whether or not you are successful.

Hi Pavel, yes site worked for me this time, i notice that when site would not work there was no "pdf" in front of listing, now it is back.
