will it be erasing the history, if the only the tin work is painted for preservation???? and then leave the rest untouched, just an idea

Paint it all or nothing. When the paint is covering all the metal and it's the first paint I would clean it and leave it.

They are original fordson (enfo) ,my tractor was just born with the more narrow 12.4x36 . I still have them , I just like the wider type

In my Forson literature the rear tires came in a choice of optional sizes. From what I have seen, both are right. With so few hours I believe I would leave the tractor alone myself also. Nice find.

Thanks Dandy Dave.
in my instruktion book for the traktor both tire sizes are shown , also 38" rims. So yes both sizes are original, mine was simply born with 12.6x36(2nd picture), but I like the wider ones better.
i´m torn in two , i dont want to take anything apart that have never been touched. but another a part of me would like the tinwork to be in good shape.
