Hi all.
Please inform me if there is a cooper washer (injector sealing) between the injector itself and the engine head in a fordson major model 1954. I have read in other forums that no washer is needed but my parts list says it is used and its part no. is:E16-CL-9. When I took off the injectors for service there was no washer in any of them. Thank you.

They often don´t come out with the injector and then when you put in a new one there is two of them, så be careful to get out the old one first. The old copper seal is easy to remove by tapping a srewdriver blade through the washer hole and twist.

Thank you. You are right, the cooper washers were in place and as you said a little tapping with the screwdriver did the trick. I installed the repaired injectors. Best regards.
