How do i lower the pick up hitch on fordson major? I worked out how to lift the rear arms either side

Hi- what you should do if all complete - is depress a small pedal roughly were your right heal sits on the foot plate - if it's not the then I guess the only way you can do is is look underneath at the release box - and see if you can physically move the bar that should have a small hole in the end for attaching the realease rod - this should pull the spring - pulling the plunger from the hitch frame - allowing you to drop it via the hydraulics - hope this helps -

Not seen a small pedal on the major soo there a bar under neath is the. But on back of tractor there seems to be bolts holding bak of pick up on
