Hi all can I fit a starter motor with live and earth connections as I haven't got the standard one on there

Not sure what you mean Jamie, all motors have live and earth connections, most are through the motor chassis to earth and some motors have an extra braided cable that bolts onto the block or frame which improves earthing in some cases. Is this what you mean?
