Fuel Tanks
Apart from the fact that the clocks are fitted to the tank on the power major, are the tanks the same on the major diesel and power, will a tank off a power fit the diesel. (bolts holes)
Don't just leave it in the shed, Fordson's are made to work, so take it out and work it....!

Re: Fuel Tanks
Don't think it will fit as column hole is not on center like the major. Just going by pictures as I haven't physically seen the power tank. Still waiting for confirmation.

The only reason the hole is not centered and is bigger is because you need extra space for the electrical wires, hand throttle rod and tach cable to run up inside that tube, and to also allow for the triangle shaped gauge mounting bracket on the steering wheel shaft housing, to fit through the tank. The tank and steering wheel/ hood are still centered to the rest of the tractor. Nothing changes between any of the majors for off center positions of the steering box or anything else Just that tank hole.
It's just the way it needs to be for it all to fit and work properly
