It's possible but the P4630/A used on the Ebro 160 is calibrated to a higher setting, 13.8 cc instead of the 13.2 cc for 200 injections. this plus use of lorry type delivery valves (510E-993227 instead of E1ADDN-993227B, Simms 500032 instead of 24499) will alter performance, but not a great issue if only doing light work. If you're working hard the PTO is vulnerable, as is the live clutch which I belive you have (if you don't then that's one less concern, but can't tell from the video you posted a while ago). I would recommend you try to fix the current pump, a replacement will cost a similar amount.

Thanks so much for the advice :) i just had the opportunity to buy this pump at a good price as a spare. I already have all the parts for a complete overhaul on my pump. Otherwise to my old problem where I needed advice on the noise from the gearbox. Took off the pto housing and indeed there was a problem with the gear that engages the pto shaft. The bearings were completely gone and the gear had a huge amount of play in it. The inside of the gear was repaired and new bearings were put in and a new shaft made and I also replaced the seal between the pro housing and the gearbox. Unfortunately, after reassembly, there is still an unpleasant sound which I don't like at all... So we will probably have to take out the complete gearbox.

Do you only get the noise with the PTO? If you do have a live clutch there are more bearings that can fail, personally I would make sure no dirt is left in there, and check what you can from the belt pulley hole, then you at least know if it's just PTO parts or involves the main gearbox too. A bad live clutch can cause noises too, but not like those in your video. I'm sure the video is not accurate at depicting the sound, I've noticed that many times on some of mine, so I can't be totally sure about what's going on. I assume you fixed the PTO gear and idler gear bearings, you can check them again if you don't find anything higher up. Some pics will help too.
