Cranshaft Woodruff Key

Does anyboy know what size this is and/or where I can get one

I put is somewhere safe (why I didn't put it in my used Takeaway tubs like the rest of teh items I dont know) and now cant find it so need to get another one to continue the rebuild.

Hi Russelm
Is your's the half moon shape?
If it is then a lot of fastener suppliers still stock the Imperial sizes.
If it is the straight Key then I can let you have a piece as I had some spare.
Do a search on 'woodruffkey' on this BB for my previous contribution.

I think you will find that the key is a parallel key 1/4" sq., I am not sure how long it is. However you can buy a length of key steel and cut it the required length.

Thankfuly, last night I found that 'safe place'

Mine is the earlier half moon shaped one, I will measure it and post the info for future reference.
