Super Dexta hydraulics

Post by naildriver »

It took 2.5 years but now I sure do enjoy my tractor. My question is: My hydraulics are strong but will not hold my bush hog at the exact height that I want it to. Also, the lift will gradually alow my tillage tool to get to deep, causing me to need to lift it up since the draft feature does not seem to be working. At the present time, I have the steering box off, installing time serts to correct stripped out bolts. I also decided to have the gas tank lined at a local radiator shop. Going to install a new oil bath cause I messed up the packing by taking it apart to clean. Now, back to my question about my hydraulics. Should I leave well enough alone or should I go back in and try to get my hydraulics perfect? That draft feature would be great to have.

Does this sound like simple adjustments or something more complicated?

I remounted my steering column today. Those "time serts" thread repair worked great.
