The generator warning light on my 1958 Dexta diesal does not go out when the engine starts and glows bighter as the
revolutions increase and grows dimmer as revolutions decrease. The generator has been tested and I am told is good. I have been unable to determine that the battery is charging but I am able to crank the tractor for weeks without using a
battery charger to recharge the battery. I suspect the voltage regulator. Is it likely that there is another problem such as the wiring of the warning light? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Generator warning light
Think I would go with you on the regulator Bill.
