Hi all I have just joined the forum and thought that I had better give a quick introduction.
I'm from the Isle of Lewis in Scotland and I have recently bought a fordson dexta that is in need of a full restoration.
I have always had a keen interest in them as my father has a super dexta that we have all ween used to and worked with while growing up.

We have had a S Dexta for 48 years and I'm always surprised how little I actually knew about them.
What vintage is your Dexta and does your father still have his S Dexta?

Yes my father still has the super dexta.
the dexta I got is a 1961 but it is in need of major renovation and it has been painted green!!
