Hello All

Post by MarksDexta »

Hello everyone, I am a new member to this site and would like to thank the moderators as well as all of the other members for providing great information and service to all the Fordson enthusiasts. I've been lurking in the background for some time looking and listening and value all of the information that is here and available. I've recently "inherited" a Dexta from my father his purchase of a new tractor. It has great sentimental value as my father has had it longer than I've been breathing. As you can see it needs some TLC, but still runs strong. I have several projects in the works that I need to finish first; however, I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty giving it the TLC that it deserves. In anticipation of all of the future questions I'll be asking, I'll say thanks in advance.

It is acually a '61. I've heard it referred to as "semi-live" pto with the double clutch. Push the clutch half way, the tractor movement stops but the PTO continues to run, push the clutch fully, both stops. You've got quite the collection!
