welger rp12
just wondering if anyone knew if a dexta would handle baling with a welger rp12, or if anyone knows of any round balers suitable for my dexta.
Re: welger rp12
I don't have any power requirement details for an RP12 but would have thought that it would be asking a bit much of a dexta. Quite happy to be corrected tho

Fordson Super Dexta, Ford 4610, and Ford 3000

Gavin, I would agree with you, I would think that you need atleast 65 to 70 horsepower at the pto to drive a round baler and thats not taking into consideration how flat/rolling or steep the paddock is that you intend to bale.Gavin wrote:I don't have any power requirement details for an RP12 but would have thought that it would be asking a bit much of a dexta.
