The question comes, as I have bougth a super dexta ( or that is what I thought ).
The reason for my doubt is, that I removed the rocker head and found a number in the cilinder head being 144, where I expected a 152.
So I think now that I have a super dexta with a dexta engine.
But how can I see if it is a super dexta engine or a dexta engine?
What is the difference between the two?
thanks
what is the difference between dexta and super dexta
what is the difference between dexta and super dexta
I just bought a DEXTA
Re: what is the difference between dexta and super dexta
Look for the engine number, LH side front below the head. Supers start 16.. and Standard normally 14...
See also Dexta sticky on engine numbers. Super engine is bigger, as you point out.

Yes Standard Dexta. The 14... ran into 15... around Jan 1962. Suggest you cross check with tractor serial no and casting codes on engine & tractor.dexta61 wrote:well good news for me, the super dexta his engine number is 1601372 so a reall super.
