Paraphrased from the Petrol Dexta Workshop manual>>>
With engine at operating temperature set relief valve to 60# at 1800rpm.
Increase revs to 2000 rpm and needle should rise slightly above 60# then flick back to 60#.

Re: Petrol Dexta Compression
I gave it a run for about 4 hours running a 5 foot slasher, only issues I note is that the temp still gets up not as bad as before but still at the top of the normal range, at normal running temp middle of the normal range oil pressure is 45psi, when at the top of the normal range it drops to 30psi.
The radiator is not so good and it is summer here so that might explain it, I will get a new radiator which was my plan anyway as the current one is not the correct one anyway.
Otherwise it runs well sounds a bit deeper and pulls much harder piston compression has come up to around 100 psi which is better than I expected with 6:1 ratio, I thought Max would be 88?
Best thing yet is I now have no leaks at all!
