Hello all
cured the problem with the draw of current to the dynamo, was a fault with the VR. Cured that but the dynamo is quite noisy when the tractor is running, and if used at any rpm the dynamo gets quite hot?
I thought maybe this is knackered bearings, if so are they changeable? Or is it a case of replacement dynamo? thanks

Forge Services, www.tractorspares.com/ advertise parts for Lucas dynamos.
Or you can search the Internet or on Ebay for spare parts.
Your local Auto Electrician should be able to refurbish it for you. If you live in the Carmarthen area try South West Electro Diesel on the Industrial Estate at Johnstown.
