Hi Sky blue
I submitted a Dexta wiring diagram for indicators, alternator and brake lights etc. Take a look at the WIKI section at the top of the page.
Cheers

i have the indictors mounted on cab, i have feed
from silonod and this feed is fused, the problem is from feed to switch and flasher unit
and which termnals to wire too on the flasher unit an switch, there are 3 termnals on the
flasher unit and 4 on the switch, i have touched the live on too the wires to indictors and they light up

Its hard to say without seeing your switch. Did you get a diagram with it? The wire from the fuse should go to the flasher, then from the flasher to the switch, and one wire to each light. Without actually seeing what you have, I cant tell you exactly which wire goes where.

If the indicators are lit but not flashing usually indicates that a bulb has failed.
Check thay the wiring and that the bulbs bulbs haven't blown and that they are 21 watts.

thanks for the reply gerald, it says that the bulbs are 12v 5w these came with the
indicators , ill try a new bulb although i dont think that any bigger would fit in the
indictor lamp , i could put a couple of other lamps on to give it a bigger load, i take
it that it would need 21 watt to give it a proper load , skyblue

I did mine a few months ago, fairly simple. If you use the wrong bulbs it will not funtion correctly.

Live wire from battery to flasher unit---then three way switch, flasher to middle contact on switch----wire from left of switch to left indicator, wire from right of switch to right indicator, then wire from each indicator to earth works on mine anyway :D
