Hi,
I'm in the process of changing my engine oil (see my post on a different aspect of this!), and want to change the oil in my injector pump. Something odd is afoot with the filler screw, it seems. In the picture here:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7yIOIq ... sp=sharing
you can see that there is a square nut where the filler should be. In my case, this seems to have a threaded hole drilled into the centre of it. Initially, I thought that someone had lost the filler nut (groan!), but it's actually a blind ending hole. Moreover, there are traces of paint on the square nut, which seems to indicate that nothing has ever been screwed into the hole. True to form for this tractor, I don't seem to be able to get the nut undone!
Is this arrangement familiar to anyone?
Cheers,
Chris
