Hi
It's amazing how time flies, my last post on this subjects was in May. When I striped the pinion assembly to clean it I did not notice that there was a +/- 3/4" circlip missing that held the rear bearing on the pinion, opposite end to spline. Today when I wanted to temp. put the pinion assembly together I noticed that the groove where the circlip fits is chipped/broken and no way will a circlip stay on to secure the bearing. I cant understand how the bearing would have remained in place without the clip? I would appreciate any advice as what I can do going forward. Part 33 on page 20 of the parts book, 32 is the bearing.
