I am trying to replace the regulator on my Dexta. Having removed all bolts, cables etc and loosened the instrument panel I can't seem to wiggle it out .The only way I can see to get it out far enough is to remove the gearsticks.
Am I missing something?

you can slide it out from under the tank side ways towards the starter handle that needs disconnecting too so it goes over the top of it, the loom should slide out too in a D shaped gromit the stop cable and clock cable should follow
