Could anyone show me a full wiring diagram re; converting from Dynamo to Alternator. Ive got an Alternator taken from a 1996 Mini which looks like it would have used a block type connector into the back of the unit. Ive had a look and basically its got Three spade connectors, Two large and One small all next to each other. Any information on this subject greatly appreciated.

This is what I'm doing:

Any comments appreciated.
All the best,

Hi Hiking bear and others
I rewired my Dexta for an alternator, brake lights and Indicators.
I have several photo's and a wiring diagram available for those who want some info. Just PM me and I'll forward the info on.
The Alternator connector is quite standard and if you try:
http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/47
its available for £3.08.
You will find they stock most parts you need.
Regards
Alternator
