Has anyone got any photos of there Dexta or know of any with a cab? At present im in the middle of building a cab but still like looking at other designs. Also does anyone know anything about cab heaters that may have been fitted into a dexta cab?

There might be one or maybe two interesting images if you follow that link, this one is the same as on Emil's tractor, it's a swedish made cab, manufactured by CTO(CETO).

Nice looking cab - does it have a built in roll bar?
What is that on the back of your Dexta? Looks like a crane?
All the best,

That thing on the bak is a crane/winsch to pull out trees to more accessible places and lift them on the trailer. It's driven by the PTO shaft.

Seems like a quite common cab in sweden. The cab itself is the rollbar. Quite strong construction with good supports on the inside of the fenders. Here is another one (not mine) . Both my dextas had the same cab type. Sadly not the same shape. Image

All the best,
As Nisse says it is a very common cab/roll bar in Sweden. All Dextas sold in Sweden have a roll bar.

The crane is built by the swedish company "VÄSE". I bought it new two yers ago. This type of cranes is common in Sweden. The company "ROTNE" started making this wirecranes in the early 1950.

Thanks for the photos. Im in the process of making mine now. It will be a cab/roll cage combined. Ive made a pattern for the frame using timber and it looks good. The steel should be with me anytime, the frame comprises of 26 sections of steel so its being cutat a local firm. Will post some photos as and when complete. I am keeping detailed drawings should other forum users be interested.
