Why do you need to know the thread size? Have you fitted a new oil pump, and cant get the old pipes to fit.
Let us know and we can may be help. Jim

Yes. I have indeed fitted a new oil pump and the threads are completely different. Can you offer any advise please?

Ok Fella, Here's what i did, . Go to your local MF Dealer, Chandlers at Holbeach. Two ways to go from here. you can get a new pick-up pipe with the sump filter attatched, and a new pump to block pipe, for a Perkins 3cyl, 135 engine.
Or you can get new nut's and furrel's to fit your old pipes, but you wil have to bend the pipes a little and you need to be carfull not to crack them.
I did it the first way, (after advice from Brian), Your MF Dealer is the easist way to go. i . Agriline may have parts but to be fair i don't rate their parts all that much.
Thats my Two-penny worth and someone else may have a different view, Jim.

That is exactly what you have to do! We have had that problem since the 1970's.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. That is what I shall do!
Sometimes you know I think there is a conspiracy out there, between these people out there, who re-manufacture parts, not only to get us to buy them, but then when we get them home, either have to modify them, or go back and spend some more money to get them to fit!
Or perhaps it's just me!
