Jumps out of High Ratio

First time I have used this forum, so here goes.
I have a 69 Super Dexta that jumps out of High Ration going down hill. It is NOT the detent spring or ball, I have checked these, so I suspect it needs splitting and something replacing.
Any ideas what it is?
Thanks,
Pat

Hi Pat, and welcome to the board.
Can you post the serial number of your Dexta? It's on the flange running vertical between the fuel filter and battery. This will clear up when she was made.
What makes you so sure it's a 69?
Could you post a picture of your tractor, I'm sure everyone on here would love to see her.

It could be a 1969 Dexta 2000 which is a totally different tractor with a different gearbox.
Thanks

OK chaps you know your tractors. It is, of course, a 1963 Super Dexta, not 1969; which is the year of the 4000 and Massey 410 combine that I have.
If you let me know how to post pictures I will gladly do so. I spent yesterday scraping rust etc to give the back asle a coat of paint before fitting new mudguards.
However; I still have the gear problem?
Many thanks,
Pat

Hopefully if you click the link about you will will get pictures and sad story to go with it.
I still don't know why it jumps out of high ratio thought?
Cheers,
Pat

Jumping out of gear could be bearing failure, worn gears/lock ring. It really needs investigation by spliting and removing the gearbox.
