i have at long last found a setting for the diff lock, i have used it and it helped me to set my diff lock, i got it off another site, it could well be one of our own members who put it on there any way i will put it up here it may help someone,
Make sure the pedal can go all the way to foot rest
Disconnect the spring loaded rod from the operating lever
There is an adjusting screw on back axel, back off the nut
position the operating lever so fork inside just toches the
the sliding coupling, [you can feel this]
Turn the adjusting screw in untill contact is made with operating
fork then back the screw out 1/4 turn and tighten lock nut.
you need to lift the right wheel clear off ground and turn it while
pushing down on operating lever,[an extra pair of hands will be handy]
Hold the operating lever in this position and with the foot pedal against the foot rest adjust the length of the spring loaded operating rod so pin can be inserted through the operating rod yoke and operating lever.
Then shorten the rod 2 turns, this will remove all slack in mechisim an it should work.
