Cabin almost done :)

Post by Winchester »

As some may remember, my dexta had a cabin when I firt got it.
It was ugly and needed some work. We have had some bad weather, so it's still some work left, but it's back on the tractor.
Front window, wiring and blue paint will be the next to do :)

The taped corner has the wires taped up behind it. I have pulled the wires inside the tubes, but kept stepping on them when moving the cabin. So that is only a temp thing, until I get the switch plate ready.

Does it serve as a roll-over frame too?
Have you an overall view of the whole tractor?

Yes, it does serve as a roll-over frame, not as much as a cabin ;)

I only got a photo from when I picked it up, this before I re-did the roof. The roof was at that point fiber glass with wood roof support. Removed it, welded in steel suports, 1mm steel plate on the roof and re-did all the wiring. Painted with rustbullet, going blue next year :)

Thanks for the pics - looks good.

Will you fit side screens - might be tricky with the loader frame? I bet it is chilly in your part of the world

No, I will leave it like this, at least for this winter :)
