Hi Adam, sdexta welcome on board, looking like you might have to split her again , sounds like a r/main seal and possible a gearbox seal , both can be got from any good parts dealer , the seals are reasonable to buy , the r/main is a rope type seal and can be alittle ackward to do , the gearbox one is a standard , rubber type withe spring inside it, if you go to the search an put in rear main seal you should get alot of posts on this, like wise for gear box seal. what ever yo do ,do not plug the holes that the oil is leakiing out of as this is why they are there, and will cause other problems if they were blocked up. Good luck Gerry

Worth having a close look at where the engine oil is coming from. Mine leaked badly in that area but turned out to be the cork strip that seals the sump over the rear main bearing cap. I split mine and did the crank seal which did nothing to stop the leak. Worth splitting it though as the clutch plate was worn out. See if the oil is running down the front or back of the adaptor plate between the engine and bell housing.

If you are thinking of taking the sump off you will need a chain block above the engine taking some load. The sump is part of the structure and a heavy casting. Taking the sump off without the block being supported by a chain block can result in a cracked block.
