Ok, so ive taken the pistons out the dexta. As i suspected the rings on two of the cylinders were stuck in and one had snapped, so hopefully all i need to do is replace these. While its apart im going to replace the conrod bearings, however there are any size markings on the originals. All it has is the letters D and G then the letters JK and underneath that is the four rings of the perkins badge, then the number 31131171.
Do i assume they are standard bearings?

Re: Bearing markings
If you intend to replace the bearings, the first priority is to measure the crankpins to establish whether or not they are within spec. The original crankpin diameter is 2.2485” to 2.249” (57.112 – 57.125 mm), if the diameters of the pins are smaller then obviously you have non standard or undersize bearing shells fitted.
