I am rebuilding the headlights and as you can imagine the original gaskets between the lens and the headlight "bowl" and the rim (door as per the parts manual) are perished beyond recognition. Can anyone direct me to a supplier of the gaskets?

Don't bother with trying to obtain a gasket, buy a roll of 'self amalgamating tape' which you can stretch around the glass rim and makes an effective seal.
Most vehicle electrical suppliers stock it.
It's a roll of what looks like thick insulating tape but it has a seperator strip to keep the coils apart.
Stretch it when wrapping and you will find that after a few days it has moulded into one piece.
Used to seal cable entries etc.
Very usefull stuff and I would reccomend you always have some to seal cables etc.
