Post by gamekeeper »

i'am new to the forum having recently aquired a super dexta, it looked a good place to come for advice and help. i'am not a mechanic and can only really bolt things on. i live in the newmarket suffolk area and wondered if there is any one living locally that would be willing to do a few jobs on my tractor .thankyou

Can you give us an idea on what jobs need to be done? It may be that we can guide you through them. There are a number of board members fairly close to you that may be able to help. A few details will go a long way.

Thanks for your reply. There are quiet a few jobs but the ones I would like to addres first are hydraulic oil leak from pto shaft, hydraulic leak from the area under the seat , neither major but annoying also bush on clutch pedal I no I should be able to do it but I can't get the cotter pin out. Also the tacho cable which I have renewed dosen't 8) work it seems that where it goes in the engine it has worn . Just haven't really got time to do the jobs at the moment if I could ,but Willing to pay and able to transport tractor if that would help!

And I had just loaded all my tools in the car! Ah Well......... :D

They sound reasonably simple jobs so hope all goes well.
