Clutch Pressure Plate Bolts

Post by russelm »

Does anybody know where I can get the special clutch pressure plate bolts from?

Or am I ok to use standard UNC bolts without the shoulder (I have 3 of the 6 original shouldered bolts)

Yes, I experied also to buy the last one from a companie here in Norway, but after, one of my Dexta,s with double clutch...who it is double up with bolts, I also drilled the hole,s to overzise, and cutted a screewdrivershaft into new bolt,s (this fit the new hole) -I,d welded the outsaid of them, but mybee several method for ceeping them there?..is to try. It.s a major problem that this small bolts and hole,s got some gap. Good luck with it.

When I removed my old clutch, I found one ordinary bolt with no shoulder. Tractor had been operating like this for at least 15 years, so I can only assume that shouldered bolts are not essential
