This is located within a couple of hundred miles from me but based on prices over here it seemed a little high.

You would need new tyres all round but the tin work dosn't look too bad.
How about making an offer? 1800?
If you say you would have to fit new tyres as those are useless it might drop the price. And of course the very high cost of parts if there is anything slightly wrong!
I would ask about the availability of parts for this "foreign" tractor.
BUT He might be a Fordson Tractor pages forum subscriber too you know!!
Bear in mind the cost of hauling it home as well.
