Thanks, Here is picture of my brother,s dexta with an litle very gooood winch on too. (my tractor will be similare with same euqipment on). it will be "twindextas"
Hi Tom, yes it is a Ford Ferguson who is loced in the gear,s i picked it up under my barn with my newest tractor..NH.. (with a fresh FORD engine - turbo) and I easily lift it by straps under. he is probably about 800 kg,s ?
Here is my dexta in earlier position, just after I,d overhaul the engine...as I tould in earlier tread, I got it from a friend (changing some parts) and the tractor was without wheels, and had the engine brake down. My forreign laptop crashed so I missed all the earlier picture of this tractor. Well with new pc, I could still follow the last part of this resto.

This is a 1962 Dexta, so I know it should be with orange wheel and badges, with blu fender,s but I did want very much to have the tractor moore like my newer NH/Ford in colour..
so I decide,d to use the Ford grey for fenders wheel,s badget and light (ecsept fender light) too.
Hi Tom, well Ido not farm for now, and i live on the "second part" of the farm who I grow up..(my oldest brother is the owner of the main farm). Usually this areas claim that several farmers go together for building bigger kettlehouses and so they are stronger.. Well this place of mine is handed over to my son for now, so I are become a pensionary for now. Therfor I have started to fix up my "oldies" as I,d collected for many years. But I also run a litle workshop on the place here who I am repair broken euqipment,s for other farmers, besides my pension. - And when I have some sparetime, i mostly want to fix my oldies.
So I use to say that "Everybody need a tractor (one or moore) for play and help in this areas.
Hi blue32, nice to see a good collection of tractors! Just a quick query, in the photo of the hydraulic control by the seat, the two black knobs on the valve block, the smaller one screws in for flow control am i correct?
And the other bigger one, this is for selecting external services? Does this push in and out or screw?
Reason im asking is that the hydraulics on my dexta have been messed with and i would like to get them back to original spec.
Ive just noticed that there is a rod that goes from the valve block on yours, mine doesnot have this, what does it do?
Oh yay, look, another seized bolt! Lets get a hammer.....and some kano.....and some cider!
Hello Nick, Yes you are correct, and the rod you asking for, I think you mean the rod going back for the controlarm, becouse the adjustvalve for Fast to Slow oil flow is turning when adjust, and therfor the rod prevent the controlhandle to oversteere it.
Nick, as Mikkel says, the rod/knob you mention is the flow control. It was introduced in Nov61 (according to my Fordson book). Interestingly Mikkel's Dexta has the earlier smaller RH gear stick with cast rather than plastic knob.
Mikkel - beautiful work!

Thanks Ben... I have alvays seen this "small"gearstick as this cast top, (only at few newer Dexta,s and S.D. I.ve seeing it with two black balls on top of the gearstic,s). Mybee it is special for delivering to Norway wihout twoo black top,s?? just like mostly of the dexta,s comes with footpedal for throtle too.

I shouldn't ask this Q here, but
I see you have an MF35, how does it compare with your Dextas?
Well Ben...everything depend of how well the tractores is maintenanc,ed... is they at same age?? and at last, it is very litle different beetwen them. But as Brian say,s too,
The Dexta is a very very good small tractor from it,s time. I love it, and they ar beautiest too.
